Jacobus (Cobus) Minnaar

Co-Founder | Lead Instructor | Livestock Specialist

Cobus holds an BSc Agric and HED – post grad (UFS).

With decades of hands-on experience, he has worked and managed various large-scale farming enterprises, including the Pig Research Unit at Massey University in New Zealand..

Today, he owns and runs a large farming enterprise in Botswana, sharing his knowledge locally and online.

Jason Smit

Jason holds a BCOM Business and Marketing Management, PMBOK, Advanced Certificate in Agriculture.

Jason is a serial entrepreneur and horticulturist with a strong background in IT systems and business management.

Salome brings a strong background in sales, customer relations, and general management to Training4Farmers. She spent many years working as a Property Practitioner and Estate Agent, and has run several small businesses of her own — experience that shapes how Training4Farmers supports and communicates with students throughout their learning journey.

Our Story Starts in 2020

We empower agribusinesses globally through data-driven education and operational tools. Our journey began on 18 April 2020 during unprecedented global agricultural market shifts, caused by the covid-19 pandemic, leading us to launch live weekly training modules for swine, small stock, and feedlot management. Today, our validated 24-week curriculum structure and extensive resource library serve agricultural professionals in 18 countries.

Having successfully tested and refined our digital management tools on our own operational farms, we now bring these high-performance solutions directly to the global agricultural market. We help optimize your farm’s productivity and financial margins through:
